Sr. Site Engineer

Summary of Position

Perform different parts of construction projects, supervising crew members, preparing estimates for time and material costs, completing quality assurance, observing health and safety standards, and compiling reports for different stakeholders.

Job Roles & Responsibilities: 

• Work with the design team to fully understand the shop drawing and production drawing, if any
• Give correct technical guidelines for subcontractors and vendors.
• Ensure strict and correct translation of structure drawings by the sub-contractors and vendors. This includes structure & finishing dimension, material specifications
• Work in close collaboration with structure foremen to ensure the correct installation of re-bars and formwork in strict compliance with the specifications of column, beam and slab dimension
• Spend 85 % of the working hours on-site to supervise sub-contractors’ work to ensure the construction progresses as planned with efficient use of construction material and still retain high construction quality
• Coordinate vendors’ work to ensure smooth site work progress and ensure that no one team’s work is held up by other teams.
• Supervise the sub-contractors and vendor work to ensure order and safety at the construction site.
