Analyst, Business Intelligence and Analytics

Job Summary

Translate information from primary and secondary sources into reports for sales and marketing at the provincial, area, and regional levels that are aligned with the department’s functional objectives; ensure that the department’s actions and plans are effectively implemented in order to achieve targeted sales performance in terms of revenues, penetration, positioning, etc.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the sales teams of each region/area to gather primary market data and information on competitors’ movements based on the 4P’s principles of marketing.
  • Conduct market surveys of targeted areas, regions, channels, segments, and/or customers.
  • Analyze primary data (market surveys, total sales volumes, selling prices, customer satisfaction ratings, etc.) and secondary data (economic indicators, private investments, government budget, etc.). Prepare reports based on these analyses.
  • Analyze the market situation and performance of the company across all dimensions (products, prices, services, etc.). Propose plans to protect the company’s positioning and to maintain or increase the company’s market share.
  • Collaborate with other departments and functions to ensure that essential services, such as transportation, product delivery, and training programs, are delivered effectively and efficiently.
  • Closely monitor the actual results of the execution of plans and strategies in comparison with targeted achievements. Prepare performance reports for each area and region.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, economics or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in marketing and/or sales analysis, or a related area
  • Knowledge of market research and analysis
  • Knowledge of business models and strategy
  • Knowledge of finance
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong presentation, written communications, and report-writing skills in English and Khmer
  • Strong  interpersonal skill
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Flexible to travel
