About this Job:

 

This role is responsible for ensuring a high level of financial transactions with CMCB Policies and Procedures and local regulations. Assist the Lead in providing regular briefings to Branch staff on strengthening internal control weaknesses. Enhancing of workflow process improvements to improve effectiveness and efficiency of the branch operations.

 

What you should do:

 

  • Processes a variety of financial transactions including, check/cash deposit, check/cash withdrawals, transfer, break TD and loan payments 

  • Handling local currency and cross currency transactions and keep confidential information of customer in a responsible manner. 

  • Ensure that opening and closing cash procedures of the cash in Till at the counters are properly and accurately done. 

  • Ensure that cash in Till are maintained within the limits set by the Bank  

  • Tellers should ensure that cash service to the customers are courteous and efficient 

  • Cash/check withdrawals are properly verified and approved before payments are made 

  • Ensure that cash denominations are properly recorded on transactions vouchers. 

  • Tellers should ensure that withdrawal transactions exceeding their authority must be approved by appropriate levels prescribed under the ‘Transactions Authority Limit”     

  • Perform cash end of day balancing 

  • Perform Relief RM, CAO Team and Customer Service functions when the need arises  

  • Understand bank products and services and respond appropriately to customer inquiries regarding those products and services. 

  • Participate in the promotion of products and services and to join the campaigns inside and outside branch to create an enlarged customer base  

  • Guide customers to use our channel such as Bank! Bank! App and ATM/CRM 

  • Channel complex customer complaints and challenges to the right quarters for effective resolution 

  • Keep good communication and relationship with the customers and team

 

What you should have:

 

  • Bachelor degree in finance, accounting or other relevant fields 
  • Minimum 1 year experience in customer services (Deposit account opening) from Commercial Bank 
  • Have 1 year experience in acquiring new deposit customers in commercial banks or MFIs 
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently process cash transaction. 
  • Computer skills in Ms Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. 
  • Good command in spoken and written English is required.
