Junior Associate, Credit Management

About this Job:

 The Credit Management Officer is responsible for assessing and managing the credit risk associated with lending activities. This role involves evaluating credit applications, monitoring credit performance, and ensuring compliance with credit policies and regulations (To review loan application that submit from branch).

What you need to do:

• Evaluate credit applications and determine creditworthiness based on financial analysis and risk assessment.
• Monitor existing credit accounts to ensure timely payments and identify potential defaults.
• Prepare credit reports and present findings to management for decision-making.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support business objectives while managing credit risk.
• Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to enhance risk management practices.
• Conduct regular reviews of credit limits and terms to ensure alignment with company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of credit transactions and customer interactions.
• Assist in the collection of overdue accounts and negotiate payment plans as necessary.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting credit management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in credit analysis, risk management, or a related role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and credit management software.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to credit management.
