Job Summary

Lead and play a supporting role for financial and risk evaluation and assessment of assigned business development projects; implement and be responsible for Business Planning process for the Group of companies.  This requires strong financial background and business acumen, the ability to engage and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and being highly analytical across a broad spectrum of financial and commercial topics.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supporting the business development teams in all project preparation and development of business case, focusing on financial evaluation and assessment, as well as project costing and financial projections.
  • Direct responsibilities to the VP for specific project evaluation and assessment, data mining, research and analysis, working with cross-functional teams/colleagues as well as potential partners.
  • Establish a yearly business planning process in collaboration with Finance, various Business Units and other functions.
  • Participate in the development and review of business plans from all functional and business units.
  • Consolidate and review the performance of various business units in order to recommend specific improvement areas to VP Investments.
  • Be responsible for defining and implementation of Group investment policy and other governance policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in investment appraisal, financial modelling and evaluation and/or business and financial planning, or a related area.

  • Knowledge of market research and analysis
  • Knowledge of financial modelling, evaluation, product costing and assessment methodology
  • Knowledge of business planning
  • Knowledge of mergers & acquisitions

  • Advanced level in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong presentation, written communications, and report-writing skills in English
