Manager, Retail Banking

  • Assist Head Retail Banking to drive Retail Banking business reaching the target (Lending and Deposit), having a good growth, and successful in the long run.
  • Directly lead Retail Banking BM/DBM/RM on daily sales activities, close the deal with the customers, control products pipelines, coordinate loan/deposit processes with relevant stakeholders, and coach Retail Banking Sale team based on real practices.
  • Work closely with Retail Banking HO team and HR academy to ensure that all Retail Banking officers have basic knowledges about lending, know how to deal with prospective customers, be able to structure loans and/or promoting deposit, have good ethics, highly commitment, and self-confidence. 
  • Participate in setting implementing strategies and monitoring the action plans on effective lending, deposit collection, and other banking services for Retail Banking team.
  • Build good relationships with potential customers, management and staffs of all Chip Mong’s business units, local authorities at all levels, and regulators, and ensure that Retail Banking operations going smoothly and having strong supportive from them.
  • Ensure the lending activity is in accordance with the approved policy and complies with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with Risk Department to monitor the quality of loan process, both pre-disbursement and post-disbursement, to identify any adverse trends and to ensure that remedial action is taken.
  • Review and Approve loan applications where amounts are inside the authorized limits and accordance to delegate authority (DA) being given.




  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking or Related Fields.
  • At least 6 years of experience in Sales, Retail Banking, Business Performance, or a related area from banking sector or financial sector.
  • At least 3 years of experience in managerial position.
  • Knowledge of Sales and Marketing and market research.
  • Strong presentation, written communication, and report-writing skills in English and Khmer.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking skills
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively
  • Ability to work under pressure
