Senior Officer, System Administration

Summary of position 

Will be responsible to administrator and support the infrastructure including Hardware Server, Operation System, Storage, and VMWare services ensuring system and service availability, scalability, and security.

What will you do
 

• Oversee all aspects of Linux, storage, and window system ensuring compliance of solution with technology landscape and long-term strategy.
• Hardware & software configuration and management all platform ensuring high quality and availability of service.
• Implement system security measures to protect company’s assets and ensuring compliance with all policies and guidelines.
• Perform system failure analysis, recovery ensuring consistency and integrity of underlying data, system backup and restore.
• Perform capacity, Disaster recovery and Business continuity planning and be responsible for the technology side related activities.
• Implement an automation platform for patch-set upgrade effectively.
• Monitoring system performance and Data backup ensuring not impact to daily business operation.
• Implement and deliver the project of Server system to meet the expected target.

What you should have 
 

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related fields
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in System Administration.
• Experience with Linux and Window platform, Storage, KVM, and VMware technology
• Knowledgeable in backup and restore, VMware, Linux, and Window system.
• Understand the network infrastructure and security.
• VMware, Linux or related certification are preferred
• Demonstrated leadership and personnel management skills
• Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
• Ability to present ideas for general users to understand
• Highly self-motivated and directed
• Sound decision making/analytical/problem solving skills
• Able to make and execute difficult and/or unpopular decisions
• Well-developed analytical and report writing skills
• High energy levels and excited by growth
