Supervisor, BI & MIS Reporting

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to lead our BI team (2 FTEs), which plays a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making across the bank. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, ETL processes, data engineering, and business intelligence, with a proven track record of overseeing BI operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of two BI officers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Data Warehouse Management: Oversee the management and maintenance of data warehouses, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and security.
• ETL and Data Integration: Design, develop, and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for efficient data extraction, transformation, and integration from various data sources, including but not limited to Oracle-based systems
• SQL Development: Utilize advanced SQL for querying, data manipulation, and report generation. Ensure that SQL code is optimized for performance and accuracy.
• Report and Dashboard Development: Lead the development of insightful, business-oriented reports and dashboards using Power BI, tailored to meet diverse stakeholder requirements.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Efficiently collaborate with various stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver relevant BI solutions.
• User Administration: Administer BI tools and user access, ensuring appropriate permissions and data governance practices are in place.
• FTP Integration: Manage file transfers and integrations via FTP systems as needed for data movement.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of BI operations.
• Data Governance and Compliance: Ensure that all BI activities comply with internal data governance policies and any relevant external regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a BI role, with a proven track record in industries with data-centric environment.
• Proven experience with data warehouse management, ETL processes, and BI tools such as Power BI or others (e.g., Tableau, Qlik).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with data extraction, integration, and manipulation.
• Experience with FTP, or similar tools for data integration.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
