Specialist, SAP ABAP Consultant

About The Job

Responsible for creating new business applications or APIs services for systems integration by using SAP ABAP.

Supporting and bug fixing of existing applications, providing recommendation and enhancement to improve the functionality and/or performance of the applications.

What You Will Do

• Work with functional support team for the ABAP Development or to develop technical solutions using standard or custom SAP functionality.
• Provide support day to day issues relate to application errors.  Debugs and corrects SAP module problems by using ABAP programming language and to implement OSS notes.
• Supporting the Unit testing and Integration Testing cycles
• Design and implement technical solutions for conversions, interfaces, enhancements, reports, forms, and workflows using call transactions, user exits, standard data transfer, dialog programming, SAP Script.

What You Should Have

• Bachelor degree in IT or related field.  
• At least more than 1 year experience working with SAP ABAP Development
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in Software development
• Experience in a full cycle software development is preferable
• Other ERP application development is an advantage
• Fluent in any application development programming languages
• Have a good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, Design Pattern, Data Structures and Database Design and SQL.
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal capabilities and ability to work cross-functionally
• Strong leadership skills and business acumen – performance driven.
• Creativity thinking
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work with multiple tasks
• Flexible to travel
